  •  The average temperature of Mars is approximately minus sixty degrees Celsius (minus 80 degrees Fahrenheit ).

  • Mars is fairly cooler than Earth mostly as it is more further away from the sun.

  • Mars' highest mountain is approximately three times as soaring as mount Everest, called Olympus Mons, which is 370 miles (600 km) in diameter.

  • Mars has the biggest dust storms in the entire solar system!

  • The surface of the Red Planet is likely to have a solid core composed of iron nickel and sulphur.

  • The Martian Planet has no global magnetic field.

  • Despite the fact Mars and Earth have an equal amount of dry land, Mars is half the diameter of Earth!

  • Average distance from the sun: 141,633,260 miles (227,936,640 km).
