About Uranus
Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun. It has the third-largest planetary radius and is the fourth heaviest planet in the Solar System. Uranus is similar in to Neptune.

William Herschel discovered Uranus in 1781. He first believed it was a comet, but was later discovered as the first planet in modern history. It was named after the ancient Greek god Ouranos.
